Make Over Your Evenings
The busyness of the day can be overwhelming at times. I don’t know about you but I have a pretty packed schedule, a long to do list and what seems like not enough time to get it all done. Do you find yourself running around all day and then collapsing on the couch in sheer exhaustion thinking about all that you have to do that night? I used to. That was me until not too long ago.
Last summer, Crystal Paine of Money Saving Mom launched a course called Make Over Your Mornings. I signed up for it because I was ready to stop feeling like I wasn’t making a dent in my day. I was pleasantly surprised at the end of the 14 days that I had a better handle on my day, wasn’t tired and was actually getting things accomplished. It was a good feeling! It wasn’t long afterwards that I starting thinking about my evening routine. I wanted something that would make that a bit easier. Well… let me tell you a LOT of people were asking for the same thing because she developed another course. This time it was called Make Over Your Evenings. Woo hoo! This girl was doing her happy dance! I was so excited to get my hands on a copy of the course.
In just 15 minutes a day, you learn how to:
- Establish a Realistic Evening Routine that works — and that sets you up for amazing success!
- Design a Prioritized To Do List for each day — one that you’re actually excited to wake up and tackle!
- Create a Best Stuff List of the most important activities and commitments you should be invested your time, life, and energy into right now.
- Eliminate calendar conflicts once and for all — and how to do so without guilt or frustration. How awesome!
- And more!
The course includes a handbook, daily videos, worksheets and projects. And again — it can all be done in 15 minutes. How cool is that!

Can I just tell you something? One thing that I adore about Crystal is her heart. As I said in an earlier post, I’ve been following her blog for a few years now. When she launched the Make Over Your Mornings course last summer, I purchased it for two reasons. First, I purchased it because I wanted some help figuring things out. As a mom of a teenager and two toddlers, to say my days were challenging would be an understatement. I was often overwhelmed and not feeling like I was accomplishing anything. I needed something to help me make some changes and the course did that. But the other reason I purchased it is because she was donating a large percentage of the sales from the first day to a project in South Africa. As someone who also has a heart for missions, I was excited to learn that a percentage of my purchase was going directly to help finish building a school in South Africa.
Going through the Make Over Your Evenings course was a great experience for me. Her practical strategies are significant AND doable. By following the course, our evenings went A LOT smoother. The stress behind getting ready for the next day was gone. It was so much simpler. By saying yes to Makeover Your Evenings, I stopped worrying about saying no. Instead, I focus on the new normal for our household and the peace we enjoy.
This is something I will definitely have to check out. Many days I feel overwhelmed morning, noon and night!
It’s a great course Patty. I really enjoyed it and am still putting some things into place! I did the morning class when she first offered it last year. I am going to be talking about it on Periscope too starting this week. I’d love to have you join me to ask questions or just to get support. My Periscope handle is angelpenn.
Thanks for the heads up on the flash deals I am excited about this course and am enjoying the mornings course now. be blessed
You are so welcome Domonick! I really want to be a blessing to others and try to share whenever I can. Hope you are having a fantastic day!
This looks like such an amazing & practical course! Great price too 🙂
How long have you implemented the evenings one so far? How long approx. does it take in each eve? Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
Hey Rachael. I’ve had the evenings course for a couple weeks now. Some of the items she discussed, I was already doing. The great thing about the class is that it only takes 15 minutes. I needed it to be short because with our busy family life, I couldn’t dedicate a lot of time. if you decide to go through it, I think you will really enjoy it.
